Well yesterday evening around 8:30 just before Audrey went to bed. Jared and I were in our bathroom shaving his head and out of the corner of my eye I happen to see Audrey crawling on the floor. Then I notice my little angel Audrey has colored my CARPET with this bright blue marker!! It was not just one little spot. She was dragging it along the carpet. For those who know how anal I am about my carpet understand that I nearly had a heart attack. Then I look down the hallway and she also colored on the tile. I wish I would have taken a picture but at the time I was trying not to beat me child and to get the blue off my pretty carpet. Well after srubbing it last night and then borrowing my neighbors steam vac my carpet looks back to normal. So as of this morning I have hidden the markers and we will only be using crayons in this house!
I also wanted to share a few cute pics. The one of Jared and Livvy is after our first day of church with our new 2:40 start time. Were going to have to get used to that! Then after that we were teaching the girls that ballons stick to heads! :)

oh, you are the lucky ward huh? we had that time for 2 years and just switched to 8am! i totally prefer 8 over 2:40....nap time was all messed up on sundays! i am glad you got all the marker out of the carpet. cant wait for those days.

What fun parents! 2:40 for church...that is horrible! Sorry about the marker. Carson only has those clear markers that work on certain paper. Gail got him some regular ones and I just about had a heart attack. Some sort of accident is bound to happen sooner or later!!
I have yet to find a coloring device that is kid proof and doesn't end up somewhere on my house!!! I love looking at your blog cuz I know you will always have something new! Thanks!

YIKS!! I would have flipped out! I understand why no pic though! I would have been the same way!! I'm glad you got it all out though! You need to put a pic of jared and his shaved head on here! Is is all gone?? By the way, tell Jared we are up to par, we finally got our HD DVR and Mike is in heaven!! Thanks for the influence!!:) LOL
Well, we all have "coloring accidents" at one point or another and we swear we'll never let it happen again. Good luck with that! and let me know how it works out! Hee, hee!!!! :-) I always buy washable crayons, markers, etc. it washes better than regular but sometimes it's still permanent.
My "art stuff" is put away (out of reach to them) and they know they have to ask to use it. Can't wait to see you Saturday for the movie!
Cute pictures! I can't believe you have the 2:40 time! Ouch! I was feeling sorry for myself b/c of the 8:00 am time we have now, but I think I'll stop crying about it now. 2:40 is painful.
I'm glad you got the marker cleaned up. I have had so many things like that happen where you think-"this would make a funny picture" but I'm so busy trying to calm myself down and frantically cleaning it up that I can't do it! :)
hurry and watch it so we can talk about it! i love this show and am so excited for every monday night. FHE is going to have to be put on hold for a month or two! haha just kidding.
